Wax ribbons
Due to the high wax content as the main component of ink, it has poor weather resistance (such as exposure to sunlight, extreme cold/heat, weather and bacteria, etc.) and is not suitable for use in harsh environments. But its printing energy level is the lowest among the three carbon ribbons (wax resin/wax grade).
Resin ribbons
Due to the high content of resin as the main component of ink, it has high hardness, scratch resistance, solvent resistance (frictional and corrosive solvents), and excellent weather resistance. However, the cost is high, and the printing energy level is the highest among these three carbon tapes (wax wax resin/resin grade).
Wax resin ribbon
Ink contains two components, resin and wax, with properties intermediate between wax and resin. The printing level is moderate, and the usage range is the widest among the three color bands (wax/wax resin/resin).
